CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Construction and Design Exposition (EXPO) — promising the most comprehensive education program and largest marketplace for the design and construction industry in the region — returns to the Charleston Civic Center March 26 – 27.

EXPO organizers said the event will offer nearly 80 professional development opportunities, covering a range of topics from building technology to structural design, project documentation, ethane development and state building codes.

“Led by some of the most trusted names in the industry, EXPO has something for every interest and discipline,” organizers said. A complete list of seminars, many offering continuing education credits, along with registration and show information is available at wvexpo.com.

More than 5,000 regional decision-makers are expected to visit the more than 300 vendors, according to EXPO officials. The show is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, and 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 27.  In addition, EXPO will host the third “Marcellus to Manufacturing (M2M) Ethane Development Conference.”

EXPO is sponsored by the Contractors Association of West Virginia, the West Virginia Society of Professional Engineers, AIA-WV and the West Virginia Utility Contractors Association, in addition to 24 co-sponsoring organizations. Organizers said the trade show has become the meeting ground for contractors, architects, engineers, purchasing agents, suppliers, public works officials and others involved in the commercial and industrial construction markets.
