Light of Life Ministries Catholic radio celebrating anniversaries

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Light of Life Ministries’ Catholic radio is celebrating a “5-4-3” broadcasting anniversary throughout the month of March.
Three stations, which are listener supported and all volunteer radio, serve a large part of West Virginia and all began their on-air history during the month of March, in 2010, 2011 and 2012, respectively.
The three “Light of Life” community stations include WVUS-AM 1190 — serving North Central West Virginia, including Grafton, Bridgeport, Clarksburg, Fairmont and S. Morgantown — celebrating five years; WLOL-FM 89.7 — serving Star City, Morgantown, Granville and Westover — four years; and WDWC-FM 90.7 — serving the Upper Ohio Valley, including Wheeling, St. Clairsville, Martins Ferry and Moundsville — three years.
These stations are affiliates of EWTN broadcasting and dedicated to “proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God” Luke 4:43. They strive to provide education, information and opportunities for ecumenism, evangelization and catechesis in the Catholic faith. The Light of Life Community also has a vibrant prayer ministry, spiritual retreats, and various outreach ministries.
The programming during the month — “. . .come here, and listen to the words of the Lord, your God.” Joshua 3:9 —  will reflect the history and highlights of the initial establishment of the stations. There will also be periodic addresses from station president, Bob Carubia and staff, throughout the month of March.
Those not in the listening areas of the above stations, can listen to LoL Radio live 24/7 online or on a mobile device at http://www.rdo.to/WLOL. And at that same link, you can also listen to archived podcasts of your favorite program.
