National TV shows to feature Skylar Neese case

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The murder of Star City teen Skylar Neese will be covered on two national television shows in March.

At 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, WBOY, “Dateline NBC” will air its show. On Comcast that is Channel 12, WBOY.

Also on NBC, on Monday, March 10, the “Dr. Phil” show will also discuss the case. That show airs at 3 p.m. on WBOY, Channel 12.

Neese, 16, a University High School student, was killed by two of her best friends.

Rachel Shoaf and Shelia Eddy picked Neese up at her Star City residence in July 2012 and drove to Pennsylvania, where they stabbed Neese to death and concealed her body in the woods.

Shoaf pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, and Eddy pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.
