CARLISLE, Pa. — It’s been said that beautiful glassware adds sparkle to home décor. Organizers of the Eastern National Antiques Show and Sale ask what better place to find those missing pieces or starter pieces than at the ENASS event May 3 and 4, at the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle.

Distinguished antiques dealers from around the country offer 18th-, 19th- and 20th-century fine and decorative arts, jewelry, glass, china, pottery, silver, toys and dolls, collectibles, postcards, maps, railroadania, folk art, antique and reference books and more.

“This is the only antiques show held in the area and as can be imagined it’s a no-to-be-missed, high quality, yet intimate show,” organizers said. “Discover hidden treasures that will add design and style to your home and have fun doing it. One does not need a complete collection as often just one or two pieces used in conjunction with modern or contemporary furnishings can change the whole feel and look of a room.”

An added feature will be antiques appraisals with Cordier Auctions and Appraisals ($5 per item) on Friday and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. both days. Expert glass and china repair with Sorrell’s Glass is available both days.

Parking is always free at the Expo Center and a $1 discount on the $8 single-day admission is offered with a copy of the newspaper ad or show card. A two-day pass is $12. The event’s hours are 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on May 3 and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on May 4. Show and dealer information is available at Chambers Management Associates, 610-437-5534 and during the show at 610-730-4319.
